Menu/ dishes:

Great mix of healthy and decadent dishes.

Price Point:

Mains are in the €20 range while their steak selection comes in at around €30, pretty standard pricing for the location, selection & quality of the food.

Atmosphere:

We ate in the bar area this time which had a lovely bustling but chilled vibe, the perfect setting for a weekend dinner date. Balfes is always busy but never feels too chaotic, great atmosphere.

Service:

Our waitress was friendly & attentive, her knowledge of the menu was great & she ensured we were attended to throughout the meal.

Why I liked it enough to share:

I’ve visited Balfes a few times before in fact, I’ve been so impressed with it that they made it into my first ever food post back in 2014- ‘Best Dublin Restaurants’ so I thought it was about time that they got their own post in the icomeundone hall of food fame!

I just love the flow to this place; it’s an exciting place to dine in without feeling crowded, the staff have always been great and the menu selection caters to every taste.

Perfect for:

A great city centre brunch or a first date.
